about

Isabella Lettini

For Isabella Lettini photography is more than a job, it is a lifelong passion.

Armed with her first camera at 15, she began with family snaps. Since then much of life has been seen through a view finder. While it began as a hobby, photography has since morphed into a career.

Isabella's photographs have been published in magazines, newspapers, books and online. You will have seen her work on a plane (Qantas Magazine), at newsstands (Daily Telegraph and various Cumberland Newspapers), and even on Ebay. Of late, Isabella's ability to capture the moment has been in hot demand for weddings.

It is a portfolio so extensive that you will find an intimate look at insects on one page and a sultry sunset on the next - all proof of her attention to detail and fresh approach to subjects.

Whether it be a classic or complex shot, of people or plants, Isabella is abreast of all the current styles and techniques keeping her at the forefront of modern photojournalism.

"Photography allows me to express myself through my images. I wasn't born with a camera in my hands, nor did I inherit the ability from my gene pool but I was definitely born with the passion. I love shooting raw images of people in their environment, their life, and their emotions." - isabella

This passion is no more evident than in her current work as Cumberland Newspapers principal photographer at Blacktown. Isabella is dedicated to documenting the growth of one of Australia's largest cities. Her photo essays on the Sudanese migrants resettling in NSW largest council area are perhaps the finest example of her work to date.
